While Phase 5 is not a self-publishing service, we do offer some services to creators who prefer to pursue avenues of publication other than Phase 5. We understand that our business model is somewhat different from the traditional publication model, and may not be within every creator's comfort zone. For that reason, we offer the following services to creators who choose not to submit (or not to publish with) Phase 5 Publishing.

Review

Not sure how your work is shaping up? Need some direction or guidance about a work in progress? Contact us about a review of your work by our knowledgeable committee. Rates vary depending upon the type, size and complexity of your work, but are very reasonable. You are guaranteed to receive a comprehensive, honest evaluation of your work and suggestions of areas upon which you can focus your improvements.

Editing

Before you take the plunge and submit your work to a publisher, have it professionally edited. Contact us for an estimate (based upon the size, type, and complexity of your work). Editing will cover all the major elements of the work as well as technical details.

For fiction small edits will be made to your file and returned to you, with notes on larger edits which need to be made by the author. For art minor edits will be made to your file and returned to you, with notes on larger edits which need to be made by the artist. For music and video, edit notes will be made by whatever method seems most appropriate for the amount of commentary required.

Covers

Don't resort to designing your cover with Poser, Paint, or anything other than professional-level graphics software! Allow us to assist you in finding a cover artist to help you create a polished, professional cover for your self-published work. The cover speaks volumes about your work, make sure it presents your work as something of quality.

Electronic Distribution

While Phase 5 is not a distribution company per se, we are willing to help you get your work to the fans. Please contact us and we will work with you to see what options might be appropriate for your work.
